I started my journey in Reiki to alleviate chronic body pain. I just wanted the physical pain to go away. I had suffered a life-changing event, and the pain I experienced affected every aspect of my life, from physical pain to exhausting hypervigilance. I discovered that there was so much more Reiki has helped me heal. The things that were tied to my physical pain began to heal, along with the emotional and spiritual imbalance it had created. As my journey progressed, I not only found peace and balance but began to see that Reiki was something I felt compelled to share with others. I believe in the power of positive energy and intention and all the beauty that comes from healing- emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. I specialize in Holistic Trauma Healing & Pain Management.
I am currently a panelist for OMA, Mind Body, and Spirit, supporting and creating safe spaces for healing.
In the past, I volunteered time as a sexual assault counselor. I was an advocate and community supervisor for the care and support of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, an intervention specialist, and a director at an arts academy. I have spent a lifetime being a caregiver, professionally and personally. My passion is to help all people, but I have a unique desire to help people living with the effects of trauma, as well as women who have suffered domestic violence and sexual assault.
